Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is the process of verifying a user’s identity using multiple independent characteristics (factors). Bare.ID supports the following MFA methods
In order to use an MFA method for Bare.ID users of an instance, it must be enabled and configured by an administrator for the corresponding Bare.ID instance via the user interface at https://app.bare.id.
Users can then set up the required login method for their user account via the Keycloak account management for users of that instance and then log in using the corresponding MFA method.
Information on setting up MFA methods can also be found in the chapters Authentication and Setting up MFA of the Bare.ID manual.
